Curator of the Richard Eurich Retrospective 1979/80 launches our new research feature
We are pleased to introduce our new research feature Curated by ... . We will be inviting people from the the art world, and from other perspectives, to dive into the catalogue and put together a mini online exhibition around a theme of their choice. The exhibitions will add to our understanding of Richard's work and how it remains relevant today. All the curations will remain available to view, adding to the growing archive of reference material about his life and work.
We are particularly pleased that Caroline Krzesinska agreed to tackle this first one. Caroline curated the definitive 1979/80 retrospective of Richard's paintings and drawings for Cartwright Hall Art Gallery in Bradford.
Her online exhibition, Richard Eurich's Yorkshire, focuses on Richard's long connection to his home county. She mixes many old favourites with lesser known works found in the catalogue.
The exhibition page uses our new left-to-right scrolling picture galleries.
Enter it via the 'More' dropdown menu at the top of every page, or go directly to it from here.
