  • Russell-Cotes Art Gallery and Museum, Bournemouth (10 May 2003 to 22 June 2003)
  • Fine Art Society, London (14 July 2003 to 8 August 2003).

Curated by Professor Edward Chaney, Professor of Fine and Decorative Arts, Southampton Institute and Christine Clearkin MA, in association with Bridget Davis, Curator of the Millais Galley at Southampton Institute, Peyton Skipwith of The Fine Art Society and the Russell-Cotes Museum & Gallery, Bournemouth.

Catalogue by Edward Chaney and Christine Clearkin, with additional essays by Alan Powers and Caroline Toppin and contributions by James Hyman, David McCann and Peyton Skipwith, published by Paul Holberton Publishing in association with Southampton Institute, ISBN 1 903470 110.

All but one of the 70 works exhibited in Southampton and Bournemouth are illustrated in the catalogue and 30 other works not exhibited are included in the essays.
