Letters from Malham: Wartime Life at High Barn Cottage

Sidney Pearson correspondence with Richard Eurich
In 2005, artist Katharine Holmes (on behalf of Philippa and Ted Holmes) gave the University of Leeds Special Collections some letters which were written by Richard Eurich and sent to Katharine's grandparents Sidney and Constance Pearson during 1940-1969. Sidney Pearson first met Richard Eurich whilst he was teaching at Bradford Grammar School where Richard was a student. A selection of Richard Eurich's letters were on display as part of a book launch for a new publication 'Letters from Malham: Wartime Life at High Barn Cottage'.
