A Collection of Contemporary English Painting

National Gallery of Canada, Ottawa

The first exhibition of the Massey Collection of English Painting (MCEP) in Canada. Its inaugural showing was at The Tate in London earlier in 1946.

It then moved on to Montreal, Toronto, Edmonton, Vancouver, Regina, London (Ontario), Winnipeg, Windsor, Mount Allison, Kingston and Port Hope before touring to Australia, New Zealand and the USA until 1952.
