Garden Fence

1983

Our garden was fairly large and quite jungle-like in places. This birch which divides into three is criss-crossed by other saplings and to some eyes is crying out for a bit of clearance. But to me as a child the places of dark undergrowth were the best places to play in. However by this time Dad was 80 years old and some of the garden had been sold off to neighbours.
