The size of a painting titled "Low tide at Weymouth" auctioned by Phillips in 1997 exactly matches the size of the painting listed by Bridgeman - "Low Tide, Lyme Regis". The dates of both paintings are the same. For now, we are going to merge the Weymouth and the Lyme Regis details we have found, ie. Redfern exhibition dates for the Lyme Regis version - 1937 and 1938 and for the Weymouth version 1943. We still do not know if there is a painting of Weymouth harbour at low tide.
