Dorset Lyme Regis The South West Cob The Cob grey day hutd rough wavesIn the 1983 'Eurich at 80' show at The Fine Art Society there were five watercolours listed in the catalogue, all titled 'Lyme Regis', all a similar size and all dated 1932. Most appeared in the 1994 'Tribute' show too at FAS. We have pictures for two of them. Three are listed without pictures. A recent find has the same title and date but does not seem to match any of the dimensions so may be a sixth. All the catalogue numbers in the exhibition listings are temporary until we can find a way of working out which is which.
There may be an oil version of this painting and sketch: East Wind - The Cobb, Lyme (c1932)
Not to be confused with the watercolour Lyme Regis (1932) or the oil Lyme Regis (1932).
