Verso: Arthur Tooth label with title "Tall Sails 1969" by Richard Eurich; inscribed but crossed out "A Tall Ship in the Solent", inscribed Tall Sails 29 September 1969 [twice], Richard Eurich. R. A. and R. Eurich.

We have no explanation why this painting seems to be dated 1970 on the front and 1969 (twice) on the back. Richard dates it as 1970 in his sales diary, entry 474, so we have adopted that date for this record.
