Rainy Day Isle of Wight

1965

An intense painting showing a wide range of colour and textures. The hills on the Isle of Wight opposite Lepe Beach vibrate with that peculiar sort of light so typical of an English day where the hint of the possiblilty of sunshine lurks under a threatening sky.
