- Shipwreck (c1945) : In a letter, Richard's painter friend Bernard Dunstan mentions a nighttime view of a ship on fire he had seen of Richard's at a friend's house. Now Identified as 'Shipwreck' from the 1945 'Paintings for Children' exhibition. Photo received and added.

- Cloud Explosion (1987) : We knew from the RA 1988 catalogue about a work titled "Cloud Explosion'. We wondered what on earth it could be of. Now we know. We have found the owner and they have kindly sent us a photo.
